A New Kitten In The House

We lost another Siamese. Sadly enough someone stole the Cat we adopted from the Animal Shelter a few months ago. This was the second Siamese to be stolen so we opted for a different type of cat. We normally adopt from the Animal Shelter older cats because we know they are less likely to be picked and we like to rescue them but this time we decided to help out a friend who needed to find a home for a sweet kitten. My I had forgotten how entertaining a kitten could be. They bring pure Joy and create destruction whenever they can. I am sharing our sweet guy that was suppose to be a girl. I called him Bella forever and then decided that he was a boy kitty. My son called him Chuck Norris because our other cats were named Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. But I prefer to call my new Kitten Simba. The kitten loves toys especially balls but his best play toy is our Australian Sheppard Quantum. They just love sparring with each other and although sometimes I think they play too rough they love each other. Quantum seems to love all our cats and likes playing with them. Infact I think he is the one that missed the other cats the most. He is happy with the Kitten and takes his duties as head kitten sitter seriously. I hope to post some updated pictures soon as the kitten has really grown fast. His favorite thing to do now is to climb our curtains and hang like Tarzan on them. Who knew what joys this little creature would bring to our household. Amazing.

Hello everyone just wanted to post the Finalist List here from the Artisan Award Contest.

Congratulations to all who were on the list. I personally know how much work is involved as I entered as well and was chosen to be on the list! Yeah! Only wish that SU would let us all get together and pick each other's brains and see each others entries. It would be nice to get a certificate of some sort or to be able to walk across the stage. We were only asked to stand briefly and some of us were on Camera and some of us were not.
I will be posting some of my work soon even though I didn't win. I am going to commit to try againg next year as this is my second time being on the announced finalist list!

Weight Loss the Advocare WAY 24 day Challenge

In 24 days I lost 13 pounds and almost 20 " all over

more than 5 inches in waist alone.

This is quite an accomplishment for me since I have struggled with the same 20 pounds for over 3 years. I would loose 20 and gain 10 back. Glad to say I found something that works and I am feeling so much better.

The plan is a bit expensive but if broken down into the price per day it is about the price you would pay for a meal out. At least if you tote your lunch you can monitor what you eat

Lucky Ladies Opportunity night

is always the first Monday of each month at the Rexall. If you have been thinking of joining the Stampin' up! family and want support this is the place for you. My own team members and their guest will be allowed to participate in an informative and fun night. Time is from 5:30 - 7:30 pm If you would like to try it out before becoming a member just let me know and I will make sure there are plenty of handouts and the supplies for a make and take. On Going Cards and Chatter classes offered at the Citrus Springs Community building on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month bring your own scissors, adhesives, pop dots and glue... I provide the rest of materials all ready for stamping and assembly. Floral City Crafters Card Classes

Card making paper playhouse Started at the Floral City First United Methodist with the Floral City Crafters across the street from the Floral City Elementary School. Starting Oct 6th 2015 We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Time will be approximately 11 am - 1 pm $2 charge for building coverage. I will be the demonstrator and I will provide kits that are ready to stamp and assemble. $2.50 per card kit. Make as many as you would like. Plenty of space to spread out. . It will be fun to meet new people and feed off each others ideas and suggestions. If you place a $20 order 2 card kits are free. Pay only $2.50 for each additional.

Ronald McDonald Fund Raiser always the first Saturday in October Same as World Card Making Day held at First Lutheran Church in Inverness FL 9:30 am = 1:30 pm help us make cards for RMHC $2 for each card set make one for yourself and one for the houses in St Pete near All Childrens Hospital. Stampin' UP! prizes to be raffled off. Proceeds fund the card program and help buy postage stamps and envelopes.

Time will be from 11 AM till 1PM Cost is $5 for the make and takes without a Stampin' UP! order or Free with a minimum $20 purchase of Stampin' UP! product from me. we will have time for TWO make and takes and have lunch. Each person will order from the menu and is responsible for the payment of their own meal; we plan to eat first and then craft. You must bring your own Adhesives (snail or double stick tape or quick drying liquid glue or glue stick and glue or pop dots and sticky tape) and a pair of scissors to keep the cost of the make and takes low, Please let me know you are attending by making your reservation to secure your spot by email or calling me at 637-6781

This is so I have enough kits available and can give the restaurant a heads up on the number of people coming.
