Locked keys    in Car Trunk

A big thank you to Andy
who rescued this damsel in distress

yesterday who in her hurry to get to Sarasota yesterday for a

 baby shower
locked her keys in the trunk of her car
 while putting some balloons

in the trunk after realizing the clerk at the Dollar tree

had not given her all of her purchases grabbing my purse

and slamming the trunk shut forgetting the keys

 laying there.

I went inside claiming my lost goods and shopping bag

then realizing my keys were in the trunk with no spare key

I felt helpless! Needless to say I waited over an hour and twenty minutes

 for a local locksmith

who kept promising he was only minutes.away every 15 or 20 minutes.

As hot

as it was I thought I would just die right there of heat stroke.

A passerby offered me a water

but I declined hoping the locksmith

would show as promised. When he still did not show I began to cry.

Wiping tears

I saw this crazy little butterfly

dancing around the Bush I was near and just knew it was

 my Dad saying calm down.

Moments later a tow truck

showed up for another stranded person

in the same situation. I questioned him asking if he could do another rescue and he agreed.

This was a much lesser charge

 than the Locksmith

 would have been in
fact he offered complimentary service

but I gave him what cash I had and a hug

for being so kind.

Thanks again

Andy from Action Towing!

My new Baby Pippin Likes to Surf

My new baby Chi-Weinnie  "Pippin"  likes to SURF

I adopted Pippin a 7 month old Chi=Weinnie from the Humane Society  on Smith Street in Inverness,FL who I clean weekly for on Sundays.  I became involved with doing community service in January and it has since become part of my life.  She is a really delightful and friendly dog.  So far has only chewed up a few clothespins a good pair of shoes and loves to Chase my new Siamese Kitten Sassy.  They really are best of friends.  Pippin is not afraid of the larger size of our Australian Sheppard  Quantum or the Maine Coon Cat Simba we have either.  She plays with them as if they were her size and can hold her own even against Honey our Chihuahuas occasional sassy outbursts.  She seems to be enjoying her new home but doesn't like to have her nails trimmed.  She will fight you to the finish.

NEW CATALOG 2014-2015

So Excited and you will be too once you peek inside!

I should have some copies soon so

Let me know if you want one

I was lucky enough to travel ot ORLANDO for the Catalog Premiere with several of my downline to attend a showing of our newest products and are you in for a treat!  I used the new stamp set we each walked away with in one of my classes last week and it was a big hit with everyone.  Thank you Stampin' UP! for our freebie!  Some of us won other great prizes as well.  The new in colors are great this year and I am sure you will agree once you see them.  We have a new glue that is in snail form called Fast Fuse and I cannot wait to use it!  Along with our new Blendabilities that are an alcohol based marker much like the popular Copics many are using to color with. Many new Framelits and folders for those who like texture.  We even have new embellishments and Ribbon to add to your probably already lengthy wish list.  Oh Did I mention PROJECT LIFE stampin' UP! style.  It sure makes scrapbooking look easier than before.  Lots of new Digital for those of you who like the digital scrapbooking as well.

Hopefully you will be at one of my next classes and be able to see some of our new projects and products up close and personal.  I am sure you will be in love with everything you see!

More Texas Blue Bonnets

Hope you enjoy seeing the pretty bluebonnets as much as I do.

This was my last day in Texas and I stepped into a red ant bed and the ants covered my left foot so I had bites all over.  Just can't explain how pretty these were in person.
